"Not Waving But Drowning"
In 5th grade, I had just started my new school, and I had made some new friends. I would always hang out with this one girl, Keyona, at recess. I felt like she was a really honest, and cool person. Well, then these other girls started hanging out with us too, so I was like okay cool. One of them, Cece, I became really good friends with, and I would hang out with her a bit more. I would still hang out with Keyona, just not as much. So, I tried to get Keyona and Cece to play together, and they wouldn't because Cece didn't like the game Keyona was playing. So, Cece stopped hanging out with me, so I had to hang out with Keyona, but I would still try to talk to Cece, but she wouldn't ever acknowledge that I was even there. So, I kept having to hang out with Keyona, which I didn't mind really, I had just wished I could have figured out what was going on with her. So basically all year I hung out with Keyona. That is until the last day of school, when I found out that Keyona was spreading rumors that I hated Cece, and stuff like that. I got really mad at that, and I stood up to Keyona, saying that I was really mad that she did that, and she admitted to all of it, and asked if I could forgive her. I really didn't want to but I did just to be nice, and I had asked her if she knew why Cece was mad at me, and she would always say no, and then change the subject. I then, went and told Cece what had happened and she said she understood. Keyona and I really hadn't been that great of friends after that, but Cece and I were okay, and I was good with that.

Omg amber i have had that experience before as well. It feels terrible and it is a sticky and complicated situation.
Oh geez! that's an intense story! Haha. It was really good though! : )
Now you're just TRYING to confuse me--you have Jordan's name in your display name! But I can now tell the difference between you and feel silly that I couldn't in the first place.... maybe I should have written a "Not Waving But Drowning" journal about that. :)
