- Trace the chronology of the Ibo people's responses to the arrival and settlement of the white man. What attitudes toward the Ibo people do the white men bring and how do their attitudes determine their treatments of the native people? What is the British view of the Africans and their way of life?
The white men didn’t really like the Africans; they thought that they were savages. They weren’t though, because they had a pretty organized system, and then the white people didn’t even try to find out what they’re laws were. They treated them like they knew exactly what they were saying, and like they weren’t able to do anything for themselves. Even though they had built this entire tribe that they were currently staying in.
