I found the part about the woods very interesting, like just how he survived, in the middle of the forest, and how he found his own resources in order to survive. I felt really bad for him though, like when he got really lonely, I felt really bad for him, and I just wanted to go hug him. =D Then when he finally escaped the forest, and ran into some of his friends, I actually almost jumped for joy, just because of the thought of him not being alone for all the rest of his travels. Even though like it was just like being alone for the rest of the road in a way, at least he knew he had people there for him and he wouldn’t have to go through this entire thing all by himself again.
I was freaked out when they were talking about the ocean, and like how it sounded because I thought that it was like a rebel base at first and then they said it was the Atlantic Ocean; I was thinking how could they like think the sounds of the ocean as like a bang? Yeah, I just got a bit confused then. Then they went into that village and the people wouldn’t even try to listen to them, I was thinking what? Has our world really come to that? Then they took off their shoes in 120-degree heat that must have hurt really bad, and by how they described it, I couldn’t even like picture it in my head. It was that like indescribably horrific it sounded like. Then the tribe found them, and they were almost drowned AGAIN, then his cassettes race to the rescue again, I was like amazing…just amazing.
