Of Mice and Men blog:1

When people are a victim of a crime, they should be able to take the law into their own hands.
I disagree with this statement, because usually when a person takes the law into their own hands that person will end up in jail, because that person was so angry or upset about the other person going to jail that they weren’t thinking. I understand also that sometimes the government isn’t all that great and that guilty people are set free, but if you commit a crime against the person who was set free then you’re basically just as bad as the person who was set free but was actually guilty. I understand why people would want to get revenge, and take matters into their own hands but why would you do it if it’s against the law? That’s what doesn’t make sense to me, why someone would want to be as bad as the person who committed the crime?
